Portero means goalkeeper or caretaker… and that’s where we take our inspiration. We are defenders. We are here to defend your animals from diseases that harm their health and ultimately rob your wallet. We are partnered with Aura Laboratories - chemists with many years of experience formulating animal health products for NZ - and Anchor Life Sciences, from Ireland - and our aim is simply to try to do animal health better, where we can. We listen to vets and we listen to farmers.

Portero Animal Health Ltd sits against the foothills of the South Island high country, and as a result whatever we’re doing gets looked at by farmer & vet friends from round here first because we know that if our products can work well here, they’ll work well anywhere.
