Assist Ewe Boost offers a new and convenient way to provide oral calcium, magnesium & other trace minerals, vitamins & energy needed by sheep.

Assist Ewe Boost is a high calcium and energy paste designed to reduce the risk of metabolic issues such as milk fever, ketosis & sleepy sickness in sheep where dietary sources are low or insufficient to meet an animal’s normal requirement.

Contains Calcareous Marine Algae (CMA) - a natural rich source of Calcium, Magnesium and trace minerals such as Iron, Copper, Zinc, Manganese, Iodine & Molybdenum. Assist Ewe Boost also contains Calcium propionate to supply fast-acting calcium and energy.

  • CMA is soluble in rumen pH and has shown some uptake of Calcium into serum via rumen. Together with Calcium propionate it provides a fast source of calcium. CMA also releases Calcium in a sustained manner via intestinal absorption due to its unique physical structures.

  • Studies show that CMA also provides rumen buffering and anti-inflammatory action which can help animals get back on feed quicker.
